Cedar Springs Policy for Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities in The Work Place

Cedar Springs is committed to improving accessibility. We will put the following policies into practice as required by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Our Commitment:

Cedar Springs is committed to meeting all regulations on Ontario’s accessibility laws and on accessibility aspects of Human Rights Code and make best efforts to assist and accommodate Persons with disabilities within the Company and its facilities.

Information and Communications:

Cedar Springs is committed to meeting the communication needs of people with disabilities. When asked, we will provide information and communications materials in accessible formats or with communication supports. This includes publicly available information about our goods, services and facilities, as well as publicly available emergency contact information.

The content provided on the Cedar Springs Landscape Group Website follows formats and guidelines that allow persons with disabilities ease in accessing and browsing the information on the website.

Cedar Springs willingly consults with and appreciates feedback from people with disabilities to determine if their information and communications needs have been met.

Use of Service Animals and Support Persons

Clients and guests of Cedar Springs Landscape Group are welcome to bring to the Cedar Springs Landscape Group Office and at meetings their designated service animals and support staff as they feel necessary. In certain situations, to protect the health and safety of a person with disability, Cedar Springs Landscape Group may require the person with a disability to be accompanied by a trained support person.

Consent from the person with a disability is required when communicating private issues related to the person with a disability, in the presence of a support person.

Training

All Cedar Springs Landscape Group Inc. employees and its partners to whom this policy applies will receive training as required by the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service. Training on Accessibility standards is a part of Cedar Springs Landscape on-boarding process.

Continuous Improvement

Cedar Springs Landscape Group is committed to improving its accessibility policy to ensure inclusion and ease of access for everyone. Changes to policy are a part of the improvement process and will be updated on the Company’s public information sources as required. Cedar Springs Landscape Group also encourages and welcomes feedback from its partners, including customers and visitors that are affected by or concerned about the Company’s policy on Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities.
