Inground Pool Designs

It's especially critical to have expertise and experience from your landscape contractor to select a pool that will fit into the overall look and feel of your property as well as the sizing, layout and proportion into each unique backyard. Many of the inground pools designs can be custom manufactured and fit to size to accommodate any size backyard.

Accents are hardscape materials supplied by the landscape contractor to really make your pool's design and character come alive. Natural rockery and stone built waterfalls provide a lovely cascade of water into the pool. Tiered waterfalls, spouts, troughs and spillways are prefabricated stainless steel products built into both natural ledgerock or precast wall systems to provide a real contemporary feel to a broad range of inground pool designs.

Coping is a coloured stone accent around the perimeter of the pools entire edge which livens and outlines the pool from the other patio areas. Coping can again be either natural flagstone / ledgerock selections or a precast material to standout from a patio deck's material, colour and texture.

Patio deck selections are typically lockstone or natural flagstone. Although plainly poured concrete or exposed aggregate, patterned concrete in a variety of colours and textures are becoming more popular as clients select an inground pool design.

While completing the pool selection and design, pool depths and shallow areas also dictate the surrounding patio size and the accompanying softscape plantings + perimeter fencing surrounding the pool area. It's paramount to select an in ground pool design that is both functional and uniform to the size of the lot.
